Chip is an early pioneer of the cultivation industry. Chip has an innate horticultural knowledge that fostered his ideas about developing ancillary businesses to support the new booming industry. With 30 years in the industry Chip has become a leader in business development, composting, soil development and cultivation technology applications, and has advised people all over the world about cannabis. Chip is a multi-state operator with seven licenses in three states.

Jim Gerencser - Founder

Adviser

Jim is a serial entrepreneur. From the age of eight he started selling cinnamon toothpicks in elementary school, which led to all different types of candies, fireworks, and ultimately drugs.

He started his automotive business in 1982, and it is now run by his son, Eric. Last year they did approximately $12 million in sales.

Jim has invested in over 15 different cannabis companies, most of them related to fighting cancer with cannabis as his son Eric is a cancer survivor. Currently Jim runs a charity called Early Recognition Is Critical (ERIC) and believes cancer can be cured with cannabis.

Justin Jones

Medical/Recreational Dispensary, Cultivation and Compliance

METRC, Hemp Cultivation, Indoor Cultivation, Large Scale Production, Regulatory Compliance

Justin opened the first recreational dispensary in Colorado, Dank Dispensary in Denver, ending a long standing prohibition for Cannabis in America.  Dank is currently in its 12th year of operations both for Medical Grow and Dispensary, and Recreational Cultivation and Dispensary.

Jones founded Kush Bottles (Colorado), the industry standard for child-safe cannabis packaging in 2014. Kush bottles (KSHB), became a publicly traded company in 2016.

Additionally Justin was a founding partner of Denver Consulting Group, a cannabis consulting agency based in Colorado. DCG focused on emerging markets and wrote successful license applications in Illinois, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Alaska, Oregon, California, and Colorado. DCG was acquired by Medicine Man Technologies (MDCL/SHWZ) in 2017.

Justin was one the first legal cultivators in the country to implement METRC tracking, making him the authoritative source on cannabis cultivation compliance. He was also a founding board member of the Colorado Cannabis Chamber of Commerce.

Last but not least Justin was the Director of Oregon Operations for the International Hemp Exchange, overseeing a one million square foot greenhouse facility and over 500 acres of high CBD hemp fields in Oregon.

Brad Crafton

Lead Consultant

Specialties: Large Scale Cultivation, Extraction, Design and Optimization

Brad has worked with operations from coast-to-coast and several countries to oversee and scale operations to meet market demands. Currently, Brad works with industry leaders to develop and refine new products while creating a total-solutions approach to the cannabis industry.

As a student at the University of Mississippi, Brad studied Anthropology with a particular interest in world-systems theory and the evolution of technology. Brad also attended Humboldt State University, where he learned the modern farming techniques of cultivators, as well as the development and use of biodiesel. Brad learned how to and became successful at developing projects, securing funding, executing pilot scale, and industrializing by aligning with the private sector.

Brad has worked with some of the largest operations in the world, whether it’s a million square foot greenhouse in Canada or a small scale cannabis breeding facility in the United States:

Rick Lowery

Rick Lowry is the owner of Cannagrowth Solutions, a cannabis consulting company operating in the marijuana industry focused on creating a positive work environment and improving company culture, while implementing proven growing practices to facilitate profit.

Jacob Sarabia

Jacob was raised in Northern California and has been a part of the cannabis industry from an early age. He has participated in many parts of the marijuana industry from cultivation and processing to distribution of hydroponic supplies. He currently specializes in design, buildout, irrigation design and product procurement.

Jacob has worked with many of the biggest companies in the cannabis industry all over the country and knows the importance of getting supplies on time and for the best price. Having been a grower for most his life he knows what's important in making a commercial grow run.

Darryl Souza

Darryl Souza Attended school in Boston at Wentworth Institute of Technology with a B.S in Engineering Technology.

Darryl is the current Manager of Cultivate, a garden supply retailer with 3 locations in 2 states (Colorado and Oklahoma). Cultivate serves 100's of commercial cannabis and hemp grows all over the country.

Over the years Darryl has helped commercial grows plan out, design and supply their cultivation facilities, from lighting design and irrigation to HVAC and IPM. Having been involved in the industry since before the beginning of legal cannabis I have seen first hand the growth of the industry.

Darryl also has over 15 years experience in cultivation himself, which allows him to see the business from both sides.

Dave Perkins

Dave Specializes in crop management, organic cultivation methods, living soil, automated watering systems, plant propagation, pest management and facilities design and layout. Growing for the last 20 years has taught Dave that there will always be some issue or problem that needs to be addressed. Finding the solution can sometimes be difficult but there is always a solution.

He is a Horticulture instructor at Oaksterdam University and a dedicated cultivator of 20 years.
